happiness
so this post might be a little vain but i don't care. this is my blog anyway and i can post whatever i want. am i right or am i right?
ok, so every week my babies and i have lunch with my grandparents at a popular greasy spoon on the west side of cincinnati (name that restaurant!). any way, this particular eatery is very popular among those "advanced" in the age department :). and every week i just love how these folks respond to my babies.
they love them!
because we are regulars, my kids know most of the costumers and workers. when i see the smiles on the faces of those people when my babies wave high or give them high fives, it makes me so proud. so proud to be the momma of these beautiful souls, who literally put smiles on everyone's face, even if it is just a wave hello.
it makes me think corey and i should populate the world with our little lovies. i may be a little bi-est but i think it would make for a wonderful world.
happy wednesday!

behind the lense
hi everyone! we had a great weekend laced with friends, fun and too many adult beverages ( i am still apologizing too myself for saturday night...) life is grand but busy.
some of you may know but others may not, i started my own photography business about a month ago! i am super excited and a tiny bit surprised at how it has blown up. i am currently booked until the end of OCTOBER!
anyway, you may have noticed the lack of posts/pictures lately. i am sorry. i am working on finding balance in my life with my new found "career." since i started "working" and am away from my children more then i have every been, think 5hrs a week (hahah i know, "give me a break joanna!"). but for someone who is never and i mean never away from her babies that is a huge adjustment. my mommy guilt is in full force. so i have been only allowing myself to be "working" either while i drink my coffee in the morning or my kids are asleep.
if you know my kids, you know this only gives me roughly 3hrs a day to answer emails, make phone calls, edit pictures and not to mention all my normal housewife duties :).
i promise i will figure this out and i will be back to posting regularly just bare with me please while we adjust to my new and exciting adventure!
happy monday!

crazy
sometimes, my life is crazy.

sometimes, my kids are sick and we are home bound for 5 days.

sometimes, when my kids are sick they keep me up all night with fevers and and upset tummys, then wake up at 6:30am.

sometimes, i want to put myself in timeout so i can have ten minuetes of alone time.

sometimes, i mean always i love my crazy, unglamorous, exciting life.

whip em' out!
i saw this here and i absolutely loved it!
i breast fed my babies and even though it was so hard it was an all around, amazing experience and i kinda miss it :(.
i know not everyone is able/wanting to breastfeed which is wonderful, to each his own right? but if you are about to have a baby and are on the fence, just try it.....you wont regret it, i promise!

Excited
today will be a good day. starting with a morning showing of, "bambi," hot coffee for me and cold, juicy cups for my littles.
we have errands to run and instead of being stressed we are going to take our time and enjoy the beautiful weather.
tonight, i get to go out on the town with some of my best girls for one of my besties bachelorette party, YaY!! this is the beautiful bride to be.

we have been friends since freshman year of high school. when we used to have to (don't read this mom) sneak beers and figure out ways around our curfews. i love that girl.
as you all know, i had my very first shoot for tea and lemonade yesterday. it couldn't have gone better. here is a sneak peak of the cutie i spent an hour with in the park.

happy friday!!

go for 3 or hold at 2....
i think i want to have another baby. no, i am not pregnant this second and no, i am not saying i want to get pregnant like yesterday. i am just thinking maybe, someday in the near future i want to add a third to our sweet little family of four.

i know what many of you are thinking (my husband included), why would you want to start over again. you have two gorgeous healthy children, one who is potty trained and about to be in preschool and another who is closing the door on all things baby and headed to toddler hood. you are so close to being done with diaper bags and bottles, cribs and onsies why would you want to go back?
because while being able to leave all those things behind is quite appealing. the joys of having another little in the house trumps that over and over again. there is nothing better(for me at least) then in the middle of the night when the house is quiet and its just momma and baby snuggled up in a rocking chair for a 3am feeding and the only sounds that can be heard are your newborns little breaths. and when the weight of their little bodies rests in your arms and you think your heart will certainly burst from being so full.

i know that it is not always bliss and that it will be hard in more ways then one. but when i look at my babies i think how can it be fair to the world for corey and i not to have more babies. i mean come on they are simply perfect.

their needs to be at least one more...or two...or three.....:)
