1. noah woke up at 6am. i let him stay in his crib till 6:30am. i know i am mean.

2. gracie is lovin' school!

she asks to go, almost everyday.


3.i was asked to be room mom for her class. yay! i always figured i would be a very involved parent so i might as well start now!

4. my kids fought over a baby wipe yesterday. yes you read that right a baby.wipe. not one of the many toys they have been gifted but essentially a wet nap used for cleaning butts (NO IT WAS NOT A USED WIPE).

5. while i miss my sass painfully while she is at school, it has been lovely to spend time with my noey baby.

6. speaking of noey baby, he is growing up so fast. he is talking a ton and walking all over the world :( i may have to change his nick name to noey "boy" because he is so close to losing the "baby" about him.


7. love my kids. love my hubby. love my life.

whats love s'got to do, s'got to do...

i must confess that corey and i are big fans of the bachelorette. we watch it religiously every monday night with our beer and a huge pile of laundry that needs to be folded.

so every week the guys and the lovely bachelorette ali, are constantly talking about how they feel like they are falling in love. this is usually declared while they are on some grand, exciting date such as, a picnic dinner on the top of a castle watching the sunset or a romantic helicopter ride around glaciers. and every time they say that i think to myself, god love ya but let me tell you this what you are feeling may be a very nice feeling but it most likely is not love.

those of you who have been in love/are in love know that real love is not a "feeling." real love is getting up in the middle of the night with your sick baby. or catching your kids vomit in your hands because they wont make it to the bathroom/bucket and you have no more sheets left because you have already changed them twice. or watching sportcenter with your hubby even though you can't stand it because he likes it. or sometimes when you are so angry with your husband you could run him over with your car but you don't.

so you see love is not a feeling at all. because i can tell you allot of things you do for love you most defiantly don't feel like doing. love is choosing to put the feelings before your own.

oh and p.s. i hope ali chooses chris l. he is so cute and has his mom's (who passed away a year ago) signature tattooed on his side.

My Wife

I love my wife. Sometimes you forget how much you love someone, or you just take them for granted. For me, it is just that I don't say it enough. I just assume she knows.

She makes my life so much easier. I don't know how I would get things done without her. From taking care of the kids all day, to making sure there is food on the table and the house is clean, she does it all.

She also let's me know when I am making a fool of myself or talking too much. But she loves me.

So just so you know, wife, I love you.

I just had to get that off my chest.
